Question by : Is the Xbox 360 controller good for fighting games?
I pre-ordered Mortal Kombat and want to know if you could get used to the d-pad on the xbox remote. Also is there an xbox remote that is made for fighting games because I hate arcade sticks. Thanks For Your Help.

Personally, I prefer something along the lines of the PS3 controller for fighting games. The Xbox 360, while being the superior controller for shooters, is a little bulky when it comes to trying to hit buttons in quick repetitions. I know that Walmart sells Ps3 controllers that that are built the same as Xbox controllers, but I’m not sure if it goes the other way around.
If you play with it for a while, you will eventually get used to it, sorry that I couldn’t be of more help.

In system settings->memory->my hard drive->games I have a file called “unknown game” that is 835 mb big. The icon for it is a big yellow exclamation.

Inside it says “title content progress cache, xbox live arcade game”.

Can I delete it?

yes you can usualy that means one of the games you were dowloading didn’t finish

Question by Krista: xbox 360 ring of death, what is MS doing?
I recently got the ring of death (the 3 red lights) on my xbox 360 console. It’s out of warranty and I don’t have the money to fix it. The worse part is that I know I’m going to buy another one to finish playing my games and for Halo 3, Fable 2, and all those other 360 exclusive games. Anyway, I was wondering (since I can’t find much on it beside people angry about their consoles dying) is Microsoft doing anything to eventually fix this problem? Are they planning of modifying the design so the systems last longer then 3 months? Is there anything being done to help make consoles last longer? (also, I did keep my console well ventilated and it still died.)

Demo video of my original Xbox which I modded a few years back. Some of the mods include a built in LCD screen, built in wireless controller, built in DVD remote, upgraded 200gb hard drive, X3CE modchip, X3IR remote on/off, BIOS select panel, blue eject LEDs, custom back lit Xbox jewel window. I just recently downloaded “Hitman Blood Money” for my Xbox 360 and I have other downloaded and non downloaded games for my 360 and I just got the Hitman one today.
So I put it in and it says put disc in Xbox 360, Ok and the game is already in the Xbox 360.
Please don’t type return it back because my Xbox 360 is Flash/Mod

If you downloaded it for Xbox 360, then you have an illegal copy. If you are downloading games illegally to play on a Modded Xbox, you shouldn’t be surprised when they don’t work right.
